Lynn Zelevansky has been The Henry J. Heinz II Director of Carnegie Museum of Art since 2009. She formerly served as the curator of contemporary art at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and as curator in the department of painting and sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Inside the Museum is a series of informal monthly e-messages by Lynn Zelevansky, The Henry J. Heinz II Director of Carnegie Museum of Art. Regarding museums as an arena where ideas about history, culture, and social life are in play, Zelevansky explores the contemporary role of the art museum and shares the pleasures of living with and thinking about art.
