Guided Tours

Guided tours are led by specially trained docents who facilitate the active engagement of visitors with works of art. Guided tours, which may focus on a particular theme (Contemporary Art, etc.) or provide a general survey of the collection, emphasize careful looking and interactive discussion. For detailed information on topics, length of time, and maximum group sizes, click here or call the Group Visits office at 412.622.3289. We request that reservations be made at least three weeks in advance.

Guided Tour prices

one-hour tour: adults $15, seniors $11, students/children $9
90-minute tour: adults $17, seniors $13, students/children $10
two one-hour tours/one two-hour tour: adults $19, seniors $15, students/children $12

On-Own Visits

On-own visits are encouraged for those who wish to move at their own pace through the galleries. All on-own visits for groups of 10 or more must be scheduled through the Group Visits Office by calling 412.622.3289. We request that reservations be made at least one week in advance. Please note that guided tours have priority in the galleries.

On-own Visit prices: adults $15, seniors $11, students/children $10.50

The prices listed above are for groups that have made advance reservations. On-own visits without advance reservations do not receive a group discount and must pay the regular admission rate ($17.95 for adults, $14.95 for seniors, and $11.95 for students/children).
