In this collaboration between Carnegie Museum of Art and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, each month brings a new book selection related to a work of art on view. Begin with a 15-minute gallery talk highlighting visual and literary connections. Then, converse with fellow readers and library staff in a casual museum setting. Most books are available at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.

This month’s book selection is Erik Larson’s The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America (related exhibition: Inventing the Modern World).
