On select Thursday nights, engage in provocative conversations in the galleries about art and life. The salon-style conversation begins around 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Abandoned garage doors, used tires, 72,000 carpet tiles…how have these and other unconventional materials resulted in creative solutions to architectural challenges? Join Pittsburgh based architects Jennifer Lucchino and Freddie Croce, principals at inter*architecture, and John Barbera of Penner & Associates Architects for a look at some inventive designs on view in the Heinz Architectural Center, then apply your imagination to a 30-minute challenge to create an inhabitable space from some unexpected materials. Prizes for winning results! Start with happy hour at 5:30. Join us in the galleries at 6:15.

Culture Club is sponsored by Great Lakes Brewing Co.
