Although he lived a relatively short life, Paul Thek has had an enduring legacy among artists of his own and younger generations. Museum director Lynn Zelevansky, co-curator of Paul Thek: Diver, and Paul McCarthy, an artist renowned for work that challenges convention, discuss how Thek’s experimentation, installation, and performance continue to influence contemporary art practice.
